At Goya, we are obsessed with storytelling. In fact, the word 'Goya' refers to the 'Could it be?' that arises as you listen to a riveting story. The only thing we love better than a good narrative, is a good narrative around food.
Anisha Rachel Oommen is the founder of Goya Media, an award-winning food and culture publication focused on India and South Asia. Goya operates at the intersection of storytelling and strategy, driving meaningful conversations around culinary heritage and cultural identity.
Through editorial content, B2B festivals, immersive experiences, and consulting, Anisha’s work with Goya goes beyond documenting food culture—it actively supports and shapes the communities and industries that bring it to lifehas a background in media & journalism. In her role as editorial director, she leads communication, storytelling, and brand partnerships, and also curates bespoke experiences for the Goya community.
Goya was founded in 2016 by Anisha Rachel Oommen, and former co-founder, Aysha Tanya, both of whom spent several years in food and media before starting Goya.
